Photography Tips

The main object/subject of your photo doesn't always have to be in the center.
Try taking a picture of the same thing at different angles.
Lighting is key. Sometimes you want the subject to be bright other times shadowy to create a mood.
Take multiple pictures of the same thing and choose the photo that turns out best.
Try taking pictures from a bird's or ant's point of view.
Try taking pictures of natural motions and movements, not always a person staring straight at the camera.
Take pictures of people jumping or doing cartwheels.
Background is important. If you are taking a picture of a person you might want a simple background so that the person is the main subject. Other times, like in nature, you might want alot in your background including colors.
Try taking continuous shots of someone jumping, running or just in motion. This way, when you put them side by side its like they're moving or you get the perfect photograph.
Take pictures of the unusual. If a cloud looks like an animal or an interesting rock formation. Also if a flower looks odd or out of place.
Take pictures of the same area, object or place at different times of year.
